Hai again..
Currently i've been using windows vista ultimate edition on my macbook pro using bootcamp for about a month without facing major problem in the process.. Yes it takes time to learn several functionality, different interface, new features and etc.. However, all can say is It's Worth your time Guys. Compare to XP, the interface will make you stay longer in front of your screen (Though it's very similiar to Mac OS X), for gaming direct x 10 boost the overall gaming and graphical processing capabilities. Many application compatibility issues have been overcome both by microsoft and the application developer by releasing latest driver. It also provide great backup procedure although there are some features that i hate or unnecessary like UAC or user account control where the system always ask for confirmation if we want to open some program that related to operating system like control panel its very annoying. Also i face major issues in networking when i tried to connect my laptop to my campus hotspot, I can't connect to it though the wireless signal is very strong and i still can't overcome the problem until now. anyone?
Another issue i face is battery consumption.. When i used Mac OS x the battery will last about 3 to 4 hours on normal usage, however when i use Windows Vista the battery will only last about 1 to 2 hours! woww!
Regarding computer resources, during idle time Windows Vista used 30 % of my 2GB ram for running the system. hmm..
In the end, despite any bug here and there Windows Vista is a great upgrade for Windows user or gamer.. Other than that.. Mac OS X is still the best!
